Individual Therapy
Confidential one-to-one support, in person or online.
Individual therapy gives you dedicated, confidential time with a registered psychologist to work through whatever you are facing — at a pace that suits you. Our clinical and counselling psychologists use evidence-based approaches tailored to your needs and goals.
What we help with
- Depression and low mood
- Anxiety, panic and stress
- Trauma and PTSD
- Grief and bereavement
- Substance use concerns
- Self-esteem and identity
- Life transitions, work and relationship stress
A therapy that fits you
There is no single right way to do therapy. After an initial conversation, your psychologist will agree an approach with you — this might draw on cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), person-centred, psychodynamic or integrative methods. What stays constant is a respectful, non-judgemental space and a plan you understand and consent to.
In person or online
You can see your psychologist face to face at our Harare offices, or by secure video from anywhere in Zimbabwe or abroad. Many clients alternate between the two to fit therapy around work and family life.
What to expect
- 1An initial session to understand your concerns and what you want from therapy.
- 2A shared plan — how often you meet, the approach, and how you will know it is working.
- 3Regular confidential sessions, with your progress reviewed together over time.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a referral to start therapy?+
No. You can contact us directly to book. If you were referred by a doctor, school or employer, we are happy to liaise with them with your consent.
Is therapy confidential?+
Yes. Sessions are confidential and conducted to professional and ethical standards, with the limited exceptions required by law, which your psychologist will explain at the outset.
How many sessions will I need?+
It depends on your goals. Some concerns are addressed in a few sessions; others benefit from longer-term work. Your psychologist will discuss this with you and review it regularly.
